Queen’s Harbour is home to 8 lighted Har-Tru tennis courts including one stadium court for exhibition play. Private lessons, weekly clinics, and a great junior tennis program are offered by Certified USPTA Tennis Professionals.

Professional Tennis Staff
Darren Harper heads up the tennis program at Queen's Harbour. Darren is a USPTA Elite Professional, the highest rating in the Professional Tennis Industry. He brings over 20 years experience teaching and directing tennis programs to the Queen’s Harbour family. Darren was a two time NCAA Division II Tennis All-American at the University of North Florida and has held numerous top 10 USPTA and USTA national rankings. Darren was named Head Professional at the ATP International Headquarters in Ponte Vedra, Florida after his playing days were over which was followed by accepting the Director of Tennis position at Timuquana Country Club where he directed their program for 16 years. More recently Darren held the position of Head Professional at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club. Darren and his staff are here to assist in all your tennis needs. Court Reservations
All Queen’s Harbour residents MUST reserve courts prior to play. Players who have previously set up an account with the Tennis Pro Shop may reserve online (
Online Court Reservations); reservations may also be made by calling the pro shop (

Property owners and tennis members may bring guests to play tennis at the QH tennis facility for a fee. All guests must be accompanied by their authorized hosts and the guests must be registered prior to going on court. This may be done at the Tennis Pro Shop, or by filling out the guest card outside the POA office and dropping it in the box if the pro shop is not open.
A fee of $10 per guest per session will apply if the guest is properly registered before play. A fee of $50 per person per session will apply to all unregistered guests. All guest fees are the responsibility of the property owner or tennis member.
All players must check in at the Tennis Pro Shop when they arrive for play.
Tennis Pro Shop Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30AM-Noon and 2:30PM-5:30PM
Daily court watering and maintenance: Noon-2PM
Junior Tennis Program
The “Peanuts” tennis group is for children 4-8 years of age. The group meets every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30PM-4PM. In this group, we work on basic tennis techniques, hand-eye coordination, tennis specific movements, and also the ability to focus for a certain period of time.
The “Future Stars” tennis group is for children 8-15 years of age who are beginner to intermediate tennis players. The group meets every Monday and Wednesday from 4PM-5PM. In this group we work on developing strong fundamentals, good conditioning, learning basic tennis strategy, and learning the rules of the game so they can begin playing in real tennis matches.
The "Aces" tennis group is based on ability and meets on Thursday from 4:30PM-6PM.

Men’s Tennis Clinics
The Senior Men’s Clinic is on Tuesday from 8:30AM-9:30AM.
This is an intermediate/advanced senior level clinic designed to give you a great workout, while focusing on stroke production and match strategy. Come out and learn the game of tennis in a fun yet competitive environment. Advance sign-up is required.
