The Newcomers Club conducts its regular schedule of activities from September through May each year. Besides a monthly luncheon, there are also several other activities that occur monthly: a book discussion group, a genealogy group, and a ladies poker group. Other very popular activities include a wine social where members can bring a guest and a morning gathering called “Coffee Chat”. Both of these are also held monthly.

 

Additionally, there are usually two themed social events each year, such as a scavenger hunt followed by dinner at a local restaurant or a progressive dinner hosted in members’ homes. Several times a year, we organize group outings to events in Jacksonville like the Holiday Pops with the Jacksonville Symphony.
