New Amenities
In May of 2023, Queen’s Harbour homeowners approved the POA Campus Amenity Project, which will add to our amenity offerings and enhance the Queen’s Harbour lifestyle.

This project features a brand-new pavilion, 4 new pickleball courts, a junior-size basketball court, expanded playground equipment, a walking path, updates to the multipurpose room and additional vehicle and golf cart parking for residents.

The pavilion is the centerpiece of the upgrade, providing an open-air, under-roof gathering place designed to comfortably seat 250 people. It features a prep kitchen with commercial-grade equipment, lots of storage, multiple restrooms, and much more. A front paved sitting area under a custom-built, end-to-end pergola includes a gas firepit, outdoor seating, and gas outdoor grills for residents to enjoy year-round. This amenity is ideal for residents, guests, and the many Queen's Harbour clubs and social groups to host special events and parties.

The upgrades also include the following:

  • Four new pickleball courts, conveniently located near the new Pavilion and existing tennis courts.
As part of our racquet sports umbrella, residents will have opportunities for private lessons and group clinics provided by a certified pickleball professional, or they can just play for fun.

  • A 5-foot wide 0.2-mile long soft surface walking path that will connect the new and existing POA campus amenities.

  • Additional parking spaces adjacent to the community pool, accommodating 15 regular vehicles and 10 golf carts with convenient access to the fitness center.

  • The Kid Zone, an expanded playground with new equipment designed to help connect families and promote a healthy lifestyle for our children and grandchildren.
The net rope climbing play structures safely encourage physical play and development. The multi-use junior-size basketball court features a color-coordinated court and two first-class, adjustable-height glass backboards.

  • A complete facelift for the multipurpose room.
The kitchen area features a 10-foot island with a quartz countertop and barstools. A full-size stainless steel refrigerator and new upper and lower cabinets replace the current arrangement. The updated entry way, featuring a console table and mirror, welcomes residents to a homey, comfortable room furnished with a leather couch and side chairs arranged to make everyone feel at home. This furniture faces a large screen TV and a stylish TV stand with storage space for board games. Additional tables and chairs offer more seating and are ideal for card playing and board games.
